Fruity, Flavourful, Sessionable. British and German malts team up with five Yakima Valley American hops to create a vibrant and fruity red ale. As lively and colourful as the people that brew it.

Light haze on this amber beer, little white head. Palate is light and semi dry with a decent amount of minerally carbonation. Light dry malt, a little cream. It’s also slightly lager like. Mild orange hops, fresh tasting but somewhat repressed. Touch of peel. Dry finish with a mild bitter linger. A touch insipid this beer but ultimately fine.

Bottle from Au Grain d’Orge, Crissier, 4.1% ABV
Bright copper-amber color with medium head. Very nice fruity aroma, and toffee-caramel. The flavor is more disappointing, the body being weak, the caramel tired, with a touch of cabbage, chicory bitterness without much hop quality, apart from some resins.
Mediocre.

Bottle from Jack’s Off Licence, Stroud Green. Aroma is autumn leaves and red berries. Pours dark brown, turning a rosé pink in the light. Full flavoured and full carbonation. Cereals, malts, pine, berries and a bittersweet finish. Tastes like a girl’s beer.

Keg at Pitt Cue - London. Pours clear amber with a soft, frothy cap. Inoffensive stuff. Some pine, ripe orange, toasty grass. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Mellow hops to finish, some further piney bitterness, lightly toasted bready malts. Simple.
