Keg at Pitt Cue - London. Pours clear amber with a soft, frothy cap. Inoffensive stuff. Some pine, ripe orange, toasty grass. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Mellow hops to finish, some further piney bitterness, lightly toasted bready malts. Simple.

Bottle. Good aroma of American hops: pine, black currant, mango. Taste with a light sourness, mild hop bitterness, a little caramel, watery.

Bottle. Amber with a white head. Aroma is toasty and spicy with some pine and grapefruit. Light, slightly creamy texture. Apricot and oranges, a very little bread, grapefruit. Balancing bitterness. Odd beer. Chirpy and refreshingly dry, but kind of empty exactly where you’d expect an amber beer not to be.

On tap @ Kick Malt & Mat. Hazy reddish brown body with a nice off-white head. Fine, mild aroma of slightly roasted caramel malt and fruit. Flavor is smooth malty, some caramel, toast, fruit and balanced bitterness. Medium body and fruit, smooth aftertaste. Refreshing, tasty and quite impressive session ale at only 4% alcohol.

A reddish copper colour, a head is medium and beige. Aroma of fresh fruits and slightly tropical, citrusfruits and some caramelly sweetness. Taste of caramell malts, but not sweet, some fruis, balanced and slightly piney hops. Light+ bodied, slightly harsh to drink. Nice appearance and aroma. Nicely aromatic and not too sweet Amber Ale.

On tap at Kick. It pours a brown, lightly unclear body and a dense, finger-thick off-white head. The aroma is fruity and rather roasted, with some tropical fruits and toffee hints. Butterscotch. The flavor has the same toffee, butterscotch and roasted malts, with some fruityness. Medium to thin body, soft carbonation. Roasted, buttery and fruity finish with a faint bitterness. A decent beer, far from impressive. 130427

Tap. Nice peachy hop nose. Hazy amber, lacing offwhite head. Aromatic hops underlaid by a toasty earthy note, needs a tad more oomph in the middle . Somewhat light body, mellow mouthfeel. Apricot retronasal pleasant.
