Draft from Standings. Dark amber pour with a white head. Hardcore vanilla in the aroma and taste. Interessante.

Can picked up from Cotteridge Wines, Cotteridge, Birmingham, consumed at home Sunday 10th February 2019 listening to Shame - Songs of Praise whilst cooking French Onion and Beef Pie with Gruyère Crust. Pours amber with a white head, good fruity beer in fact lots of pine resin action, the oak ageing softens this. It's a good beer. Busy cooking (chopping a 1.4kg of Topside and 1kg of onions) so beer rating is rather brief.

Aromas are fairly mild and simple with some hops and pale malt a bit of caramel. Flavors are more bitter than sweet a little metallic and medicinal. The beer's a bit old, canned in mid April. I've had better IPA is but this is drinkable.

On tap @ Mudville 9. This is a soft amber colored one, only a little blurr and a tall lasting dense lacing off-white head on the top. Like the aroma. It's mild yet present. The whole place I'm sitting in smells like barbecue sauce and that kinda effects the while nosing experience on this one quite a bit, but I do get hints of citrus and soft vanilla in between all the sweetness from the BBQ sauce. The taste however is easier. There's a fair amount of raw apply sweetness/sourness. Quite unlike your average IPA this. It's nice and oily in the mouth while it's about average on the bubbles. A hint of wood acidity blended with bitter piney hops. Slightly astringent in a mild way also. Actually quite good tasting this. 10.06.2015

35,5 cl bottle @ hotel room, Los Angeles. Bottled 06.04.2015. Aroma is sweetish wit apricot, resin and fruity tones. Flavour has sweetish apricot, resiny malt, fruits and sweet berry juice. American sweetness and resin are strong in this one.
