Rumble IPA is an American IPA with subtle nuance. Brewed with heavy-handed additions of Pacific Northwest hops, this beer is gently aged on French and American oak resulting in a wonderful balance of bitterness, caramel sweetness, vanilla, and undertones of pine and citrus.

Bottle pours a hazy medium amber. Small thin white head. faint pale malt aroma. Malty and sweet, very little hop flavor or bitterness, and nearly flat. Like its been on the shelf for 6 months. Drinkable, just disappointing.

Draught at Sorbon. Hazy amber liquid with small to medium off-white head. Aroma of oak, soap, citrus, pine, biscuit, caramel, coconut and fruity yeast esters. Has the typical GD caramel/wort aroma. Taste is dry and medium bitter with notes of oak, pine, citrus and biscuit. Medium bodied with medium to high carbonation. Good stuff, but not a favourite.

12 oz. bottle from Julio’s Liquor’s. Used my Duvel Tulip. Clear amber color. Slow carbonation. Minimal head and lacing. Big sweet caramel notes on the nose. Mild oak followed by mild citrus hops underneath the sweetness. The oak takes a backseat in the flavor to the malt sweetness. Almost too much sugar. The citrus hop shows up again with an addition of pine bitterness. Faint hints of vanilla show up when the brew was nearly gone. Moderately oily in texture. Overall; not bad but… a bit unbalanced. Overly sweet.

Clear deep amber beer, nice creamy white head, unstable, little adhesive. Aroma: very sweet, peaches, honey, ripe fruits, bit herbal, some chocolate malty undertone. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet malty start, dry piny bitterness but just a little, nothing too aggressive. Sweet fruity touches, bit sugary, nice dry feeling, some grapefruit. Aftertaste: honey, sweet and bitter, little grassy, citrus, grapefruit, a little flowery. Good stuff.
