Can@Nolia Beer 2017 (at the guest bar). Ambery brown colour with a small beigeish brown head. Aroma is chocolate, some alcohol, mild ashes, toasted and bready tones. Flavour is rye bready, some chocolate sweetness, mild syrup as well as some plum and mild ashy and roasted malts. Ashy aftertaste.

1/12/2018. Can from Nisse666 and shared at the 1st Kesgrave 50/50 bottle share. Pours clear amber/brown with an off-white head. Aroma of chocolate, hazelnut and lactose. Medium to heavy sweetness, medium bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, average to soft carbonation. Milky chocolate finish. Pretty good, aroma especially.

200ml draught at Lådan. Shared with Finn. A bubbly fawn-coloured head, laces well, black in the glass, Sweet nutty malts on the nose. Coconut flavours with caramel and lactose. Way to sweet for a higher mark. (Stockholm 17.01.2018).

Mørk brun med lavt beige skum. Lukter kokos, lett kaffe og vanilje. Middels + i fylde. Smaker kokkos, nøtter og noe lett bitter kaffe.

Canned, from Systembolaget. Dark brown, rich creamy head. Aroma of hazelnut extract and caramel. Sweet with medium-full body and rounded, somewhat sticky mouthfeel. Lots of hazelnuts, some caramel. Nothing else. Like drinking a chocolate praline. One dimensional and rather infantile. Not that pleasant either.

330ml Can (8%) - Dark brown with some orangey tinges when held to the light. Vanilla, nuts and chocolate in the aroma. Smooth and fairly sweet taste with chocolate, nuts, vanilla and syrup. Easy to drink but feels rather artificial although the can does not state that essences or flavourings were used. Quite nice though!

Can at Nolia Beer. Brown color, small beige head. Aroma is very chocolaty, even artifical. Medium-bodied. Cocoa powder, chocolate, sweet flavour. Quite simple porter for sweet tooth. I am not big fan of this.
