A full bodied stout made with all malted barley and blueberry. Flavors of chocolate, roast malt and light blueberry make up the palate with lots of fruity blueberry aroma.

355 ml. bottle shared by Kraddel @ Rampkrot. Β½ consumed. Thanks. Blackish dark brown, mocha bubbles. Nose is light umami but lots o mocha, sugar & sweet blueberry. More blueberry pulp with brown sugar than the berry on its own. Light bitter roast upfront, touch umami leading to sweet blueberry, brown sugar, lots of mocha, basic chocolate,β¦ Low carb, sweet heavy mocha boby. Drinks really easy. Very nice. Fav. Dark Horse beer so far prob.

Draught @ NYC Craft Beer Festival. Inky black with very small foamy beige head, blueberry muffin aroma, low carbonation, blueberry flavored coffee taste, long finish. Very nice and satisfying.

Bottle. Pours black with a deep brown head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma combines roasted malts, light smoke, bitter chocolate and blueberries with a dark grain backbone. Flavor has dark grains, bitter chocolate and roasted malts supported by blueberry and a hint of smoke in the finish.

Draft at Gingerman. Deep stout pour you know what Iβm talking about. Thin head lovely nose of blueberry and chocolate. Tastes of plums, molasses, chocolate, and plenty of blueberry goodness. Bitter palate. Very enjoyable

BOTTLE 12 OZ.
The aroma is very intense, even for a 7.5% stout - lightly smoked prunes, molasses, chocolate. The body is more drinkable than the bold aroma suggests, with lots of roasted/burned malts and ashes, and hints of tannic mildly acidic ground berries. Excellent.
