330ml bottle @ Olhus Stockholm, Helsinki. Pours dark with tan head. Cocoa aroma. Taste is smooth, lightly sweet, moderate roast and lactose. Quite tasty.

Bottle 330 ml, reported 5.3 % ABV. Mild smell of licorice, coffee, chocolate. Dark brown colour, high brown head. Aroma of burnt malt, acid, finishes with a chocolatey flavour. Sour, also mid-bitter. Lively carbon, surprisingly light body.

A colablack beer, a head is dense, medium and beige. Aroma is strongly roasted, salt and liquirice with an unspecified twist, coffee. Taste has liqurice, coffee and roastiness, also some bitterness. The end has coffee with roastiness. Medium bodied, quite smooth. Lactose is unnoticed. Nice and liquirice beer with the good and unique notes.

Draught@HBF2014. More or less black colour with a small brown head. Aroma is liquorice, toasted malts, ashes and some slight toffeeish notes as well. Flavour is mild ripe fruits, raisins, liquorice, caramel and some nice mellow bitterness to it as well.

(Keg at HBF2014) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and light brown. Aroma had burnt malts, sweetness and sour milk. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, burnt malts, liquorice, coffee and bitterness. Afteraste was sweet, roasty and bitter. A good balanced sweet stout.

Draught @ HBF 2014

Pours pitch black with a large white head. Aroma of roasty malts, chocolate, milk and lactic note. Taste is smooth, milky and slightly lactic with some roastiness, chocolate, licorice and cocoa. Finish is smooth, roasty and sweetish with some notes of licorice and milky lactic. Okay sweet stout.

Fark brown color, good off-white head. Toasted, slightly vegetably aroma. Light-bodied to medium-bodied. Licorice root is evident, a bit veggie, toasted malty. Nice licorice, not lactose found. Nice beer.

Tap@Helsinki Beer Festival 14. Dark brown, thin brown head. Roasted malt, licorice, bread and something I can’t put my finger on. Flavor has licorice, milk, oatmeal, sweetness. Long milky sweet finish. Drinkable.
