Das zweite urige bayrische Urbier ist dieser Doppelbock, der aber gar nicht so schlimm ist. Es ist schön intensiv fruchtig mit starken Karamell-Noten und dabei aber noch halbwegs süffig rüberkommt. Nicht nur für Bockbierfanatiker, sondern auch Leute die gemütliche Aromenspiele suchen.

Clear amber colour, white foam. Bready, malty, sweet caramel, typical Fassla character. Good.

Malzig in Nase und Trunk, etwas Honig, aber sehr unrund. Wird schnell alkoholisch, wenig Vielfalt in den Aromen. Fässla ist leider auch hier nicht mein Fall.

Clear amber with a large white frothy head. Aroma: caramel, treacle, dried fruit, esters. Medium to full body. Taste: rich malts, dried fruit, esters, hop. Hoppy and alcoholic ending. Light to medium bitterness.

Brown with a thin, frothy head. Aroma of caramel, stale Bauernbrot, and tasted grain. Taste is mildly sweet. Body is medium with a light warmth at the end. Quite drinkable but, ultimately, forgettable.

Fles 50cl thuis. Zoet, bokzoet, grainy, maltig, caramel, oily, licht boozy, fruitig, pruim. (1-1-2020).

Flaska @ Zummen. Kakig, brödig doft. Maltig kropp där mjuk julkaka bäst beskriver smaken. Fyllig och eldig munkänsla. Medellång eftersmak.

8% on the label. Amber colored, pretty light for a doppelbock. Malty plumaroma, with only a hint of smokiness. Malty, slightly smoky flavor. Alcohol clearly present. Long burning hopbitter finish. Not bad, but I expected better. (7 3 6 3 13 = 3.2) Tap, Het Pleintje Hengelo. Amber color. Smells like caramel cake. Fluid bread in the flavor. More than hints of roast and smoke in the flavor. Very malty, full bodied. Earthy hops. Delicious and characterful.

Bottled 500ml. -from City Markt Bamberg. Dark golden/amber coloured, medium sized off-white head, malty alcoholic nose. Sweet malty, caramel, fruits and alcohol with light grainy notes in rather sweet finish.

500ml Bottle - Amber in colour. Sultanas, dried apricot and caramel in the aroma. Malty and slightly fruity taste with dried apricot, sultanas, caramel and hints of rye bread.
