Belgian style white pale ale. An innovative hybrid of styles landing between white ale and India Pale Ale. White Hatter brings spice, hops, and fermentation notes together flavorfully.

Bomber from Once Upon a Vine. Pours a slightly hazy yellow color with a medium sized fizzy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of citrus, sweet wheat and herbal notes. The taste is wheat, citrus and herbal hops. Spicy finish. Medium bodied and refreshing. A simple but nice beer. My negative opinion of New Holland is starting to change.

Pour is a hazy yellow with a large white head. Aroma has a deffinate hop to it. I also get some spice and clove. Flavor is some corriander, tropical fruit and a decent hoppy backbone. A decently hopped wit.

Whole Foods, P st, DC 22oz ($5): Pours a light orange with a tiny head. Aroma are American style hops, so kind of grapefruity, coupled with coriander. Taste has even more coriander in it. The hops mellow out in the taste, but they are still sort of the main thing going on in this beer. Body is very light, much lighter than most IPAs, which is, I suppose, a contribution from the white ale part. In any case, this is an interesting ale.
