650ml bottle. Jet black colour with late awakening, small to average, thick, creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, brown head. Chocolately dark malty aroma, slightly sweet-ish notes of dark chocolate and milk chocolate, cappuccino, vanilla-flavoured coffee, a touch of toffee and caramel, Storck Riesen. Taste delivers identical flavours at a considerably increased level of intensity and with more forceful sweetness, dividable only for the purpose of analytical deScription; viscous, oily texture, minimally tacky palate. Well balanced, harmonious and holistic, thereby deceptively drinkable. Veeery nice - demands deliberated acoustic accompaniment.

At a tasting, thanks, no head, a little thick pour, opaque black color, aroma of coffee and cocoa with a medicinal hint, flavor of chocolate, coffee, shrubs and some prunes, mellow sweetness, long chocolate herbal aftertaste. Very good.

Bottle shared at a tasting at Dancing Camel Florentin. 8.5%. Black with a nice small tan head, quite creamy. Nice big roasty coffee aroma with a light vegetal hint. Sweetish roasty flavor with coffee, some cocoa, and a bitterish finish with a burnt hint. Full-bodied. Really good stuff.
