Thanks to AdamJackson! 650 ml. bottle sampled @ Sanne’s birthday tasting. Oily black with no head. Nose is thick coffee roast, lots of roasted coffee. Thick lightly sweetish coffee taste, sugar, light grass, quite sweet but nowhere as thick as RIS’s tend to be, chocolate, faint roast. Med. body. Pretty decent but not with much finesse or depth.

Bottled 650ml. -from Svijet Piva Zagreb. 8.5% Deep black coloured, small brown head that went away fast, pure coffee nose. Heavy roasted malt, roasted coffee and dark chocolate with notes of licorice and light alcohol. Of course coffee and dark chocolate in the finish. Pairs well with Lindt Excellence 99% Cocoa.

Bottle, 22oz. It pours next to black, clear-looking, and with a small, dense, firm, tan head. The aroma has lots of delicious coffee, with dark chocolate and hints of bonfire and vanilla chiming in. A bit one dimensional, but pleasant. The same goes for the flavor, but at least there’s more evident bonfire notes here. It’s full to medium-bodied, with a pleasant carbonation level. Lasting finish with a roasted kind of bitterness showing up. Well hidden alcohol all the way. Dangerously easy drinkable this one, and sure tasteful. Even though it’s a bit one dimensional, it’s sure a fine brew. 141025

Black color with a fine beige head. Coffee, chocolate, spicy, vanilla and fruity aroma. WoW. Love to have my nose into this. Not as thick body as expected. Fine balance between sweetness and bitterness. Lovely smooth and tasty flavor. Coffee, vanilla, some spices, roasted and some fruity notes. Well masked alcohol.

65 cl bottle @ home
Vertical with basic version
Aroma has has coffee and mocha, also some chocolate. More stale on the aroma side than the basic version. Flavour has coffee, dark chocolate, some cocoa and hints of vanilla. Quite close to the basic version but this has deeper level of roastiness and more coffee. This is less complex though.
