Swami’s IPA was first brewed in 1992 to commemorate one of our favorite local surf breaks nestled below a spiritual enlightenment temple that sits on the cliffs above. This West Coast style IPA features a timeless American hop profile of citrus and pine with a crisp balanced finish. It’s a dream come true to be able to share so many pints over time as we all evolve together. Whatever your form of meditation is, we hope that each and every sip contributes to your own self-realization…Cheers!

Hops: Chinook, CTZ, Cascade, Centennial, Citra, & Simcoe

Clear golden, airy white froth. Fruity, piney aroma. Flavour is very piney, almost woody, with caramely sweetness and tropical fruit. Creamy and juicy. Nice

Can @ White Terror or Northern Alliance against the Bolsheviks, Sønderborg. Pours clear golden with stable white head. Clear aroma of hops and citrus, with estery notes and touches of malt. Intense, bitter flavour of hops and citrus with notes of yeast. Lingering, bitter aftertaste. Decent.

Can: Golden to deep golden, big and stable beaten-egg-white-like head; distinctive tart fruity/citrussy and piney nose, some balancing sweet pale malt underneath; solid bitter and slightly sweet flavour, medium bodied, dry and tart MF; lingering dry citrussy-orangey and piney finish, some malty sweetness still detectable. Good, but a bit too demanding…

16 oz can poured. Huge thanks to Tim for the can. Clear golden pour with a hop centered fruity aroma. Bite bitter hops up front. Grainy citrus. Hints of lemon and grapefruit. Bitter linger. Fun try. Good.

1 pint can brought back across the pond from sunny California by Colin, my thanks to him. A hazy golden/orange coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, citrus, pine aroma. Tastes hoppy, citrus, pine, tropical fruit. Initially sweet but then a fruity bitterness lingers on. Decent IPA from Pizza Port.
