This beer begins with crushing grapes grown in Côtes Catalanes, in southern France, and let them start a natural fermentation. On top of this we are then adding the wort and let it ferment for itself. Fruity, vinous and with a wild funkiness that develops with age.

Bottle courtesy of tkrjukoff. Pours very hazy burnt yellow with a small frothy white head that leaves some small trace in the glass while dissipating. Smell is funky with crackers, cereal, lemon juice, hay, dry soil, barnyard, grape skins and lemon peal. Taste is tiny sour and funky. Mouthfeel is dry, tiny tart and medium bodied. Finish is tiny sour with crackers, cereal, lemon juice, mushrooms, hay, dry soil, barnyard, wort, grape skins and lemon zest. Cool but a bit unrefined... Needs some work but could be great given time. --- Beer merged from original tick of Cuvee Alexandria '14 on 15 Aug 2015 at 13:52 - Score: 6. Original review text: Bit mushroomy. Needs some work...
