Appearance: Dark brown colour, small beige head.
Aroma: Liquorice, anise, some malt.
Body: Medium body, low to medium carbonation.
Flavour: Liquorice, anise, malt, some caramel.

Bottle @ DØE julefrokost, Århus Bryghus. Pours dark brown with a small offwhite head. Aroma is sweet and heavy anis, licorice. Flavor is malt, sweets, licorice, anis, spice. Medium body, soft carbonation. 181213

50 cl bottle, heritage 2012 with annis seed. Pours clear and golden deep brown to amber with no head. Aroma is solid cough syrup. Toasted malty, star annis and just cough syrup. Liqourice and annis seed finish.

Bottled. A black beer with no head. The aroma has notes of liquorice, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of liquorice, malt, caramel, and alcohol - a bit too much liquorice for my taste.
