Nora hade en särställning under den gamla järnhanteringens tid. Det finns mängder av historiska lämningar, från den tiden i och runt Nora. Gruvor, dammar, järnvägar och hyttor. En mycket fin hytta är bevarad i Noras närhet, nämligen Pershyttan. Väl värd ett besök.
Vår ”Pershytte Pils , har på flaskan en bild av hyttan. Där jobbade många generationer med framställning av järn. Vid ”utslaget” rann glödvitt järn ut i formar, som blev s. k. tackjärn. Det hade nog smakat bra med en PP efter en sådan arbetsdag.
PP är en ljus, långlagrad lager, som är opastöriserad och ofiltrerad. Den är gjord på tyska humlesorter av den nobla sorten. Det märks!

Bottled. Golden colour, with a big white head, and rather lively beer over all. Aroma is earth cellar, some grains, mild cardboard and some rubbery notes. Flavour is earthy, grainy, dusty and a bit rubbery to it. Harsh.

Hazed golden color with a white head. Weird and not very inviting aroma. Cooked vegetables in a way. Medium body and an ok carbonation. Wtf….I must not be rude….Kitchen sink. Weird and unbalanced flavor. Medicine and cooked vegetables. How can they sell something like this?

On tap at Ölbryggan. Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma and taste of light fruit, grain, some bread and grass. Thin and with a medium bitter finish. Quite boring to be honest.

Bottle from webb SB cons 2015-04-20 Duved. They claim that the beer is brewed in the heart of Bergslagen (Nora) on the bottle. If you check the map that is not really the case (and there are several maps....). I’m born in Karlskoga, aswell a part of Bergslagen but not in the center at all :). Bottled, from Systembolaget. Lightly hazy golden, mid sized head. Dusty, fruity nose. Sweet with light-medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Dough and sugar, notes of grass and dust. Low bitterness.
