Black with a small tan head. Fairly soft aroma and taste of licorice, light roasted malt, chocolate and coffee. The finish was dry and bitter. Pretty good one.

Appearance: Black color with a creamy beige head. Some lacing.
Aroma: Mild dark malt, coffee and some chocolate.
Palate: Medium body. Balanced sweet and a fine bitterness. Soft carbonation. Creamy texture.
Taste: Mild chocolate, bready, coffee and some roasty notes. A fine hoppy tail.
Overall impression: A really pleasant, tasty and fresh stout. Highly recommendable.

Smak och doft av malt, korn, kaffe, choklad, bröd, lakrits och rostade toner. Fina smaker, välbalanserad, lagom sötma och en del sting i beskan.

(Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm, 28 March 2014) Black colour with creamy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with black coffee, juniper berries, spruce twigs and black rye bread. Malty, roasted taste with notes of black coffee, juniper berries, liquorice, spruce needles and a generous coffee/piney bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with just a touch of sweetness. Well made stout with lots of flavours, still fairly well balanced. Excellent!

On tap at Akkurat, March 2014. Black with a small tan head. Fairly soft aroma and taste of licorice, light roasted malt, chocolate and coffee. The finish was dry and bitter. A descent one.

Bottled at Akkurat, Stockholm. Black, mid sized beige head. Rich licorice and coffee aroma. Dry with solid body and firm, rounded mouthfeel. Grain, dark chocolate, coffee and licorice. Redinous really bitter finish. Rock solid stout.
