Tap @ Fermentoren Aarhus. Hazy dark brown/red with small off-white head. Aroma is malt, caramel, toasted, dark fruit and marmalade. Flavour is malt, caramel, toasted, sweet, dark fruit, marmalade, warming, notes of alcohol and medium bitter.

Caña en Cimmeria 05..12..2017. Gracias Maria & David. (r246) Color ámbar bronce velado con espuma beige. Sabores intensos carsmelizados dulces maltosos. Seca con toques de maderas y alicorados. Cuerpo medio a intenso con buena sensación alcohólica desde el principio. Buena.

Smell of oak, caramel, alcohol. Deep bronze colour, beige head. Aroma of oak, alcohol, rum. Very sweet. Plentiful, soft carbon.

Mahagoni with little white head. Aroma is strawberry, caramel, raisins, little (wild) strawberries, blueberry. Taste is sweet caramel, butter, pretzel, lots of juice, blueberries. Very drinkable. Perfectly balanced. I like it despite the shy aroma.

Bottle at Moritz's. Nose is strawberry, sweet banana, raisin, caramel. Palate is sweet caramel, banana, malty finish. Prety good, where drinkable.

Bottle. Hazy amber color with white head. Aroma is malty, raisins, strawberry, fruitcake. Taste is strawberry, raisins, malty, fruitcake. Oily mouthfeel with low to medium carbonation, but surprisingly light-bodied. Nice Barleywine!

Small sample from tap. Buttery sweet malty aroma. Buttery sweet, bready, rye notes. Sweet finish. Not the most typical barley wine perhaps.

F: medium, tan, quick diminishing. C: dark copper to brown, hazy. A: malty, butterscotch, caramel, vinous, bit oxidized, mellow fruity, citrus, bit fruity sourness, complex. T: huge malty, bit chocolate, caramel, toffee, a lot of fruitiness, vinous, bit honey/herbal, herbal sweetness very good balanced, full body, low carbonation, really great beer, fully enjoyed, 33cl bottle from Bierwinkel De Hopduvel in Gent.

33cl bottle. Poured a slightly hazy orange amber with a bubbly white head. The aroma is dry mineral malt, light toffee caramel. The flavour is moderate sweet with an alcoholic dry fruity light metallic hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. A little like a red ale/barley wine combo.

Flaske 330ml fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø - Langnes. Mørk amber. Høyt luftig skum som daler sakte. Aroma av rosin & plommer. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken veldig søt. Plommer & sherry. Tørr alkoholisk avslutning. Litt tungdrikkelig.
