Båstad BLACK är en mörk lager med kraftig och fyllig smak. Den har bryggts med en sort av kafferostad malt som ger ölet en lätt ton av kaffe med gedigen efterbeska.

Draft. A brown beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt and brewmash. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, brewmash, and caramel.

Draft @ MÖWF 2015. Pours a black color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma. Fruity malty caramel buttery flavor. Has a fruity malty caramel buttery finish.

From tap. Pours hazy brown with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted and light butterish. Bitter, toasted. Dry and toasted malty. Slight herbal.

Appearance: Dark brown colour with a tan head.
Aroma: Caramel, malt, sour.
Body: Medium body and carbonation.
Flavour: Sour, vinegar, malt.

First ratingBottle 33 cl at Sweet & Sour, Sätila, 2014-08-30. Thanks to Johan J (non-ratebeer).Flip-top. BB 09-2014.Clear dark brown color, dark brown head. Buttery, lactic, roasted scent. Acidic to sour taste. Butter aftertaste. Medium to thin mouthfeel, very low bitterness.Something seriously wrong here, didn’t want to swallow a small sample, had to drainpour even what was in my glass and go rinse it out, vile. 4/4/1/2/1=1.2RerateAt Malmö Öl & Whisky Festival, Saturday March 14, 2015.Draught.Clear very dark brown to black color, small teal head. Butterscotch, sweet, rather intense strawberry jam scent. Malty, grainy taste. Very different from scent. Fizzy mouthfeel, medium bitterness. Grainy aftertaste.Did not finish my small sample.3/3/4/3/7=2.0

Bottle from SB cons 2013-10-08 Göteborg A bit unplanned - but this become my 1000 Swedish beer! AR: roasted malt, some sournees AP: dark brown, fizzy dark brown head deminishing F: sour grape fruit, roasted malt, coffey, lemon meat... might be of!

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Cloudy darb brown, rich head. Aroma of vinegar with a whiff of smoke. Lemony sour with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Vinegary finish with notes of metal. Infected drainpour.

Bottle from Systembolaget, e-order in September 2013. Dark brown with a large tan head. The aroma was rather mild with malt, some berries and roasted malt. Similar taste, also a tartness which was a suprise. Drinkable but a bit strange.
