Bottle at home. Pours a clear reddish amber colour with a light beige, creamy, medium head. Aroma of dried fruit, cranberries, nuts, wood, caramel, maple syrup, leather and some chocolate. A bit on the sweet side. The flavour has more nuts, fudge and still a malty touch. Sweet and light. Has a silky mouth feel, and a light bitterness. A little boring beer compared to other Flying Dog beers. Is balanced and sweet with a pleasant aroma, but the taste is surprisingly light.

$1.85 Bottle, Wine Warehouse, CHO. Pours brownish amber with a large beige head. Smells of leaves, malt, and spice. Tastes of spice, bubblegum, malt... and something else. Don’t know what it is. Odd.

Bottle from St Albans Beer: Shop. Poured a clear amber with a thin, off-white head. Malty aroma with notes of caramel and coriander. Initial flavours of burnt sugar, banana and nutty malts. Chewy malt and cereal on the palate with some sweet toffee. Rather nice winter warmer.

Zabraklo tu gestosci aby moc mogla sie ukryc. Rubinowo brazowe piwo ze srednia piana i niezbyt trwala. Jako zimowe piwo nie polecam

Bottle 3 months past bb date. Clear copper with almost no head. Spices, brown sugar, strawberry, lightly roasted malts, a touch of chocolate and faint herbal notes. Medium sweet with a burnt-bitter touch at the end. Medium bodied, light moutfeel, slightly watery. Light carbonation. Nice aroma, rest is abit meh.
