355ml bottle from Appellation Wines. Pours clear amber brown with a quickly dissipating off-white head. Aromas of toffee and spice, some nutty quality. Light red fruit on the taste, good bitterness. Creamy texture, erring towards sticky. Good clean finish. S’alright.

Nose is malt, sweet and boozy; figs, dark fruits and lots of plum. Taste is Dark fruits, malts, slight chocolate, leading to a lightly hoppy finish slightly spiced finish. Something off the barley wine to it, rather than a christmas beer. Good beer.

355 ml. bottle poured in to a snifter. Dark amber colour with a sall, off-white head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, hay, spices and overripe fruits. Alcohol. Taste is sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Long lasting dry finish with spices and fruits. Some toffee. Is this some sort of Christmas beer without to much Christmas flavour wise? In conclusion this beer is not that well balanced to be really great.
