Imperial Stout brewed to form part of the Red Willow barrel aging programme, this is the non aged version and is only available in very limited quantities. Rich dark coffee with a hint of smoke and a luxuriously smooth mouth feel.

Keg at the hanging bat... Deep black.. Thin tan lacing... Soft dark chocolate roast.. Light licorice nose ... Dark roast... Dark malts... Mellow roast... Soft chocolate... Light thin body... Tiny coconut husk... Nice but body is too light... Needs CASK 4.2 Oh look cask at the craft100... Superb... All the above and more... Fantastic even had a 2nd.. Which says it all really 4.5

Cask at Redwillow; dark brown frothy tan head, aroma has roasted malt, molasses, hint of coffee, slick mouthfeel, very good.

Keg at The Hanging Bat. Jet black, thin tan head. Aromas of liquorice, roasted coffee, dark chocolate. Taste is more of the same. Oily texture, but a little thin on the finish. Better as it warmed up and lost some of the fizz.

Take away from the Hanging Bat. Pours black, nose is coffee, chocolate, roast malts, meaty, taste is sweet, rich chocolate, liquorice, dry.
