Traditional English 'Burton Bitter'. East Kent Golding and Styrian Golding hops provide the bitterness whilst Maris Otter and Crystal malts provide the tremendous mouth feel. Additional late hoping with Cascade hops ensures this beer has a fruity aroma. To ensure authenticity we ensure that the salt profile of our brew water matches exactly that found in Burton-Upon-Trent leading to the unique body associated with the style.

Tap @ the brewpub. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are rich fruits, citrus, grass, malt and hops. Long pleasant bitter finish. I personally thought this was a golden ale, but the brewer told me that it was a bitter. Anyway an excellent beer.
