A prize-winning beer that we brew exclusively for De Bierkoning. The fruity, bitter hops and lightly roasted malt complement each other perfectly in this light brown beer. These flavours are accentuated with a little coriander to produce a full aroma of flowers, citrus and a hint of caramel. An irresistible beer that was crowned in the Brussels Beer Challenge with a silver medal in the Herb & Spice category.

330ml bottle from Beermoth. Pours slightly hazy yellow. Taste presents bitter, fruity IPA hops with a touch of sourness and some interesting spicy pepper / coriander coming through. Fresh & drinkable but that spiciness isn’t generally my cuppa tea.

A slightly orange, brownish yellow beer with a big and blond head. The nose is strongly fruitfull and spicy, citrusfruits, black peppers, some sourness of green apples. Taste is fruitfull and strongly spicy as aroma, earthyness, herbs, lether and sour end. Medium bodied, high carbonation, fresh to drink. A unique and sour beer again from t IJ. Good beer.

33 cl bottle @ lusikka, BBE 12/2013
Aroma is somewhat fruity with peaches, some funky notes, citrus and spices. Flavour is sourish with some salt, earthy notes, citrus and hints of vinegar. Feels a bit malty on some sips. Leathery palate. Messy.

330ml bottle

BBE 12/2013 - Pours murky orange with a tiny white head. Aroma of dry ripe fruits, malts, hints of spices and grassy hops. Taste is fruity, spicy and mildly malty with hints of grassy hops. Finish is hoppy, sweetish and mildly malty. Okay, quite hoppy Belgian ale.

330 ml bottle, shared by my son Steinar, who brought it from the brewery. Brownish cloudy colour, large off-white head. Lovely and interesting spicy and yeasty aroma and flavour. A beer I definitely would buy again.
