12 oz can. Aroma is mild grass, weak citrus, and honey grain. The base of the brew is toasted grain with mild caramel. The grassy, citrus hops end in a bone dry finish. I don’t really remember the 1st version of this brew. Funny thing is nothing about this will make me remember this version either. Nothing wrong here just ordinary.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 9/22/2016. Pours hazy golden orange color with a 1-2 finger dense and fluffy off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of tangerine, apricot, peach, pear, pineapple, mango, melon, guava, papaya, berry, lemon zest, orange peel, pepper, pine, honey, light caramel, toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/tropical hops and moderate bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of tangerine, apricot, peach, pear, pineapple, mango, melon, guava, papaya, berry, lemon zest, orange peel, pepper, pine, honey, light caramel, toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate pine/peppery/citrus rind bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of tangerine, apricot, peach, pear, pineapple, mango, melon, guava papaya, berry, lemon/orange rind, pepper, pine, toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/tropical hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance. Bit of lingering hop astringency after the finish, but not overwhelming. Light-moderate dryness from bitterness, increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately sticky/resinous, and creamy/grainy balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 6.5%. Overall this is a nice Australian hopped IPA. All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/tropical hops and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink. Fairly bright and dank on hops; with a balancing malt backbone. A nicely enjoyable offering.

Pours hazy mango into a snifter. Bright white head with medium retention recedes to mottle surface. Tropical fruit aromas. Sweet caramel and dusty candy corns upfront turning dry with passionfruit and mango before the lasting pith finish.

Sampled from the tap at 30hop. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of biscuit and graham cracker with some grass supporting. Flavor combines grass, graham cracker and hay.
