Maple Syrup Bourbon Barrel-Aged Coffee Chocolate Stout
CBS was born when we stumbled upon some bourbon barrels that had previously housed maple syrup. We opted to put the same base beer as KBS, an imperialized version of Breakfast Stout, in the maple barrels and, after one taste, we knew we had something special. Rich maple syrup, roasted coffee and velvety chocolate meld together in what can only be described as a transcendental drinking experience.

Fat Fermentoren . Färg = meningslöst är ju Imp Stout. Doft ahhh. Bourbon direkt i munnen sen efter några sekunder kommer hårt rostat kaffe med vaniljsocker i. Sen bourbon igen. Exakt så smakar det. Jättegod . För få högre betyg behöver sötman ner lite och även kaffet tack.

Bottle (2018). Dark brown color, light brown foam. Aroma: very sweet, molasses, maple syrup, bourbon, caramel, chocolate, dried fruit. Taste: powerful, sweet, caramel, maple syrup, halva, candied fruits, bourbon, milk chocolate, excellent brew.

Bottle at Bishops Arms, Östersund (Maltfestivalen). Never thought I'd get this on a wee dram during the festival given its elusiveness and price but win win. A mutty malty glory of a beer. When put next to the orindary breakfast stout, you really see the upgrade. Smooth and a huge body. % well hidden

Vom Fass (Vintage 2017 / 11,7%) im Muted Horn Berlin 2019-02 getrunken. Dieses IStout kommt mit einer vollen, beigen und sehr cremigen Schaumkrone daher. Da es trotz seiner Süße so gut balanciert ist, macht es einfach nur Spaß.
