From a sample shared by vinivini at Eric the Red in Moscow. Pours cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma is pepper, malt, herbal. Taste is dry and spicey, acidic.

Cloudy amber ale with a small white head. Aroma: wild yeast, solid peppery spiciness, dried fruit, special malts. Medium body. Taste: complex, unusual, interesting. Mefium dry. Fairly peppery, a wild touch, dried fruit. Tart ending. Did not dig it but it is cool.

750ml bottle thanks to Craig pours out a golden topped with a white head. Nose is citrus white grapes some dust and a black pepper spice note. Taste is more of the nice citrus lemon grass notes pepper spice and some grape.

Bottle. Color: Reddish brown, dense long lasting off-white head. Aroma: Moderate sweet, herbal, hints of caramel. Taste: Over medium sweet, floral, herbal, notes of caramel and sugar, yeasty and peppery hints. Moderate bitterness. Nice sweetish herbal mouthfeel. Full body, average carbonation. Long lasting bittersweet herbal and lightly boozy finish. Very nice Saison.

Decades later, I finally get to try this beer! Vinous nose, sherry like. Flavor also sherry like, but also with raisin/fig notes, herbal bitterness (light) and a very definitely vinous alcohol finish. Very warming. A little cloying.

Florals and a little hay. Some lime tang. Amber pour with good head. A bit of booze but well balanced like you passed the walk the line drunk test. Tap at Spveriegn.
