Bottle shared at a tasting. Thanks Neil! Hazy orange gold with a big soapy head. Grass, dandelion, green stems with dew in the morning, lemongrass, light wood on the nose. Taste is fairly well-balanced with some light caramel and malt holding up the grassiness. Ricola cough drops? Nice.

Bottle shared with jeevan. Pours hazy to murky amber, thin white head. Aromas of orange, toffee, light brown bread. Taste is bitter orange, a green note I guess from the dandelion. Light sweet finish.

Bottle - Caramel, citrus and some herbal notes. Cloudy orange with a nice off white head. Caramel, light funky tartness and some herbs with a bitterness in the finish. Not a fan of this one.

750ml (btw green glass) bottle. Hazy, reddish amber colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Spicy, yeasty and citrusy fruity aroma, peppery notes, red pepper, orange zest, a herbal touch of dandelion, bitter hoppy overtones, quite penetrative overall. Taste is herbal, spicy, dandelion, pepper, caramel malty background, an alcoholic touch; very dry finish. Far from flattering, rather inaccessible, esoteric.

Willrunforbeer’s crazy afternoon cellar clean out continues! This bottle has about 15 months of age, roughly. Dark amber color with huge carbonation level that gives head. Aroma is earthy with birch root, toasted grain and some dried leaves.
This brewers beers just don’t age well at all. The brew in my glass is nothing like the brewers description. Not sure if there wasn’t another labeling error (as I have had with this brewery back in 2013) The flavor is more of a Autumn seasonal beer from a lower end American brewery. Dried leaves, caramel sweetness that turns to lingering earthy bitterness. Thin body with ample carbonation giving some pop on the tongue. I guess if this was labeled as Autumn seasonal brew maybe the score would be slightly better but we still don’t know what the hell this should be.

One of Fantôme’s better known spice beers, this one made with dandelions Danny Prignon harvests himself in the brewery’s vicinity. Rocky, very thick and stable, off-white head, orange blond colour, almost amber, hazy with a ’stormy’ fizz. Fruity, ’wild’ aroma of wet hay, sherry, peach, freshly cut grass, sweat, lemon peel, banana, meat broth but no apparent dandelions (whatever aroma that would be). Fresh citrus acidity in the onset, lots of sharp carbonation, supple and lightly powdery mouthfeel, very yeasty palate, peach, caramel, honey, sour accent lasts till the end, dry finish with grassy hops, bitterishness probably due to the dandelion as well, but I cannot recognise it with certainty.

Fint karbonert. En annerledes og god saison.

Shiningly golden. Dense off-white head. Ash, sour peat, dried fruits and raw vegetables in aroma. Sourness and a hint of sour peat in taste and aftertaste.
