Winner Speciality Beers LocALE Competition at York CAMRA Beer Festival 2013 Cloudy, hoppy weizen with Apollo, Bravo and Galena hops. This is a genuine German style Weizen with the hops of an American IPA. Light, refreshing and extemely fruity as the hops balance the banana and clove notes from the german yeast. This beer is naturally cloudy because it is unfined and thus suitable for vegans.

Cloudy orangey beer with a thin head. Complex scent of orange, citrus and something spicy too. Taste is basically the same. It’s the spice which lingers in the aftertaste.

Bottle split at JF’s, thanks to he, 11/09/14. Murky orange with a big old off white head of bubbles. Nose is floral hop, citric sherbets, apricot, spice, hint of bread dough. Taste comprises citric peel, orange pith, dried apricots, straw, wheaten bread, hint of vanilla. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a hoppy rinse in the close. Ok for style, decent enough hopped up wheat.

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Hazy golden body with tiny yeast flecks floating around. Medium white head. Nice lacing. Aroma of orange, lime and musty yeast. Flavour of Rich Tea biscuits, wheat, citrusy hops and mandarin. Thin body with a watery texture. Light fizz. Very hoppy for a wheat beer.
