Viven Bruin is an improvement of the original recipe. The fine balance between malt and spices creates a surprising aftertaste. Brown ale with an aroma of chocolate and caramel.
This beer is the perfect meal companion. Properinge hops.

33 cL bottle, thanks to fonefan/Brugmansia. Pours hazy brown with a lacing off-white head. Wineous and dense malty aroma with a solid spice note. Flavour is more mildly spiced and in addtion holds a dark roasted malt flavour. Reappearing spiced finish as the final and lasting impression.

Red-brown abbey-style ale. Nice nose as autumn-wood: shrubbery, wild mushrooms, some melasses. Taste chocolatey, something minty??, subtle herb-tones. Rather thin mouthfeel, aftertaste not lingering, dies rather quickly. Tasted as "Klooster van Viven"
