Bottle from Sophie's Beer Store. Aroma has nuts, dough, dark fruits and sour milk. Opaque dark brown. Thick foamy beige head - I left the bottle unattended and it started to crawl out. Two tier flava: sour dark fruit with a bitter chocolate core, over creamy nutty sweetness and candy. However the sourness takes centre stage, with the bitterness appearing more into the finish. Medium bodied. Creamy. Fizzy carbonation. Long ever so slightly astringent finish. Lovely jubbly. Never overdoes the different elements.

Bottle pour (best by 3/7/23) from Total Wine & More, Burlington. Appearance is a cloudy dark brown (like a mix between cola and apple cider), tons of sparkle at the edges of the glass with 3-finger foamy beige head with fair retention and trace lacing. Aroma is strong caramel, dark fruit, spice, yeast. Taste is molasses/brown bread, dark fruit, spice. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, average carbonation, nice alcohol warmth and finish as taste. Overall, well balanced strong aroma and flavor with decent complexity. It's reputation is well deserved.

0,33 l bottle from Promili.hr. Shared with little Dina. Brown with a ruby red tint, large head quickly diminishing to a small lasting off-white head. Begins doughy, malty and estery. Syrupy fruity. Rich fruity character, lots of dark cherry. Caramel candy. Strong, spicy, fruity, doughy. Medium body, alcohol bite and warmth. Good balance, low sweetness, a touch of herbal hops in the back, dry finish with semi lasting fruity flavour. Alcohol well hidden.
