Backlog, from 10 years ago. Bready, a bit grainy, some sweetness, very yeasty, not a real IPA.

Bottle at Gainsbar. Orange/golden colour with massive beige frothy head. Aroma is hops, herbs and spices and fruit. Touch of brett too. Very lively from the bottle. Taste is fruity, peach, citrus, orange sherbert, mango. Finish is quite bitter and very fruity, tangerine maybe. Slightly herbal/floral taste too.

13/03/2016 @home - 33cl bottle Vacas bought for me to WBF2015 (good until end 2014. Orange amber colour with huge head. Nose : freshness is a bit gone already but however bitter hops still available. Taste is very bitter, bit earthy, still nice after all this time. Fruitiness was a bit gone.

Collaboration between one American and two Belgian breweries, with rocky, off-white, sticky, stable head and misty amber colour. Aroma of black pepper, peach, parsley, walnuts, honey, grapefruit, celery salt, fresh ginger, caramel. Fresh citrussy onset, some pineapple but not really sweet, strong carbo, nutty and caramelly malts adorned with a fascinating play of sharp spicy, citrussy, leafy and grassy hops, aromatic and tingling, long and dry, complexely bitter finish. Very good IPA.

Vielen Dank an Kölschtrinker. 12+10+10+12

A great example of a Belgian IPA. Very hoppy and fruity, but yet also very yeasty and spicey. Very nice.
