Drink legendary. This distinct ruby beer’s sweet caramel and fruity aromas tease the taste buds. Brewed with smooth and rich Chocolate and Crystal malts & a blend of Fuggles and Styrian Golding hops. Expect a delicious full-bodied toffee flavour and a fruity finish of figs, raisins and dates.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 13B). Bottle 33 cl - Batch 4CGM22:39. AROMA: toasty malt with a slight caramelly background and low sweetness present. balanced to forward low earthy hop aroma. APPEARANCE: brown color and clear. moderate ivory head with good to medium retention. TASTE: initial of a moderate to low sweet caramel note. medium-low bitterness just to offset the slight sweetness, that lingers beyond a semi-dry finish. PALATE: medium-low body with a slight texture. medium-low carbonation. OVERALL: an average brown ale with less caramelly malt.
