A Belgian inspired beer with just a tongue-tingling twist! With a combination of spicy chili and belgian yeast.
Try it with shellfish, tapas, smoked ham or some good cheese.

100ml from bottle. Clear amber, white, filmy head. Smell of spiced malts. Rather subdued taste of chili, some hops beneath and a lighter touch of yeast. Medium to full bodied. Actually, quite tasty (CBF, 06.05.2010).

Bottled. Amber colour with small slightly off-white head. Aroma is spices, some yeast, fruits, mild grass and also some sweet alcohol. Flavour is caramel malts, some fruityness, yeast as well as spices. Also alcohol giving a nice burning touch along with the chili. Not a chilioverdose in the flavour, which makes this rather drinkable.

Thanks Eddie! Clear deep amber color, decent creamy beige head. Caramelly, grassy hoppy, alcoholic nose, no chilli here. Caramelly, sweet, a bit simple, covering alcohol well. Chili is picking up nicely in the aftertaste giving burning feeling. Balanced being chilli beer.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye (marked 26-07-2010). Pours with an off-white head and a hazy brown body. Aroma is sweet with dried fruit, candi sugar, banana and a light burn. Taste is burn, green vegetables, and the typical triple fruitiness. Dry and fizzy.

At the Ølfestival, Esbjerg, Denmark 23-10-09. A clear copper pour with a few isolated bubbles and very good clarity. Bit sweet is my initial thought, maybe too sweet, but I definatley get the chili and maybe some marzipan The chilli is a real slow burner but its good and does a good job of disguising both the fact that this is a little sweet and the alcohol shows.
