Dark brown. Bubbly head. This has quite a bit of vanilla, touch of chocolate, some almonds and hazelnuts. Soft, sweet, seems like coconut, and the nuttiness comes through as well. Really sweet…I don’t mind it, actually. It’s not 100% or anything, but there’s some quality here.

Level 42 Bottleshare and no Mark King in sight. Almost opaque dark brown beer, tidy tan head. Palate is soft and airy. Soft chocolate malts blend seamlessly with mild spice and dark fruits. Mild oaky vanilla. Smooth finish. Smooth and drinkable.

Bottle from Bacchanalia, drunk at home. Dark brown with a wispy cream/khaki head. Intense chocolate fudge, strong peanut notes, boast coffee, a hint of yeast extract. Ambrosial sweet taste with a boozy kick. Lots of chocolate and a hint of woodsmoke. Hop bitterness very detectable in the. Finish. Nice balance. Eggy French vanilla, hot fudge and earthy hop notes round out the aftertaste. I am so glad we found each other.

Bottle shared in London - big thanks to Kenny. Pours clear, deep brown with a creamy khaki head. The nose has strong chocolate, dry vanilla, roast. Medium sweet flavour with some coffee, baking cocoa, mild earthy bitterness, vanilla pods. Miedium to full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with sugary chocolate character, creamy coffee, mild earthy bitterness. Perhaps a bit simple, but drinks good and is fun.
