Bottle big thanks to Kenny at level 42. It pours darkest red - brown with a thick tan head. The aroma is rich, sweet, sticky, cocoa, toffee, candy, brownies, cookie, banana split and wood. The taste is crisp, dry, roasted malt, vanilla, chocolate, brownies, cookie, warming alcohol and light spice with a dry, warming finish. Medium - full body and moderate, foamy carbonation. A bit sweet, but fine.

Bottle shared with friends at a weekend tasting. Thick dark brown pour. Aroma dominated by milk chocolate, with notes of vanilla, oak, bourbon. The taste follows the same notes, very heavy on the chocolate. Excellent beer.

Bomber from 2014 I think. Dark, almost black color. Beige head with short retention. Strong aroma of sweet chocolate, with some vanilla, light wood. Retronasal it’s sweet, chocolate, light booze (bourbon perhaps). Flavor is rather sweet, chocolate-y. Not too strong alcohol feel, though it is warming a bit. Good body, medium to full. Finishes with cocoa, light roast. Good desert beer.
