Bottle at Beer Brothers, Budapest. Pours almost black, beige head. Malty aroma. Taste is roasted malt and ash. Finish is sweet.

Erst mal danke an meinen Kollegen Jószef, der mir dieses Bier aus seiner Heimat mitgebracht hat: dem Szeklerland Die ungarische Schrift zeigt eine Besonderheit dieser Gegend bzw. des Bieres: auch wenn die Gegend im heutigen Rumänien liegt, so ist der Großteil der Bewohner ethnische Ungarn. Es ist ein malzbetontes, süßes Dunkles mit einem vollen Körper. Von Hopfen findet man aber nicht viel, was aber auch nicht allzu fehlt. Ein durchaus brauchbares Bier.

50cl bottle @ Niamey Carft Beer tasting - farewell party to Balasz. Merci Madalin. BB 18/06/2019. Brune, col crémeux beige. Arôme offre un nez classique des Bock de l'est un grand bouquet caramel, presque fin mélanoïde, caramel, peu d'impact houblonné - douceur latente. Palais est malté, grillé caramélisé assez dominant. Profil allemand dans l'apport levure et grains, petit houblonné noble citronné. Douceur persistante en fin de bouche. Pas mauvais dans l'état.

Opaque dark color with a solid frothy tan head. Good lacing. Looks ok. Ok intensity in the aroma. Some roast and dark malt. Tad sweet and a bit oily texture. Pleasant carbonation level. Toffee, some roast and bready flavor. No sticky alcohol. Nice evening sipper this one.

0,5 bottle. Ez a sör nálam minden barna-Bock sörrel kapcsolatos elvárásnak megfelelt. Alsóerjesztésű barnák közt nagyon finom. Alkoholtartalma magas, de kortyra nem nagyon érezni - nagyon kell vele vigyázni! Én egyszerre csak egyet ittam :) Gyönyörű a színe, rendkívül harmonikus malátás, picit szilvás, kávés, édeskés, de mégis komlós is - szóval az íze is csodás.Bármikor szívesen innék egyet. A kóstolt darab kifejezetten szenzációs volt. *** Újra kóstoláskor ugyanolyan jó volt.

This beer met all the expectations of brown-Bock beer for me. It is very fine among low-fermented browns. It has a high alcohol content, but you can't feel it for a sip - you have to be very careful with it! I only drank one at a time :) It is beautiful in color, extremely harmonious malt, a little plum, coffee, sweet, but still hops - so it tastes wonderful. I would love to have a drink at any time. The piece tasted was especially sensational. *** It was just as good when tasted again.

BOTTLE 50 CL. Really dark ruby-brown, beige head. Subtle dark malt aroma, burnt sugars and toasted pie crust,some booze. The taste is that of a sweet dark lager: dark caramel, notes of cooking chocolate and moderate grassy bitterness. Simple, decent.
