Sample at Qbrick’s 10th Anniversary Party. Köstritzer Meisterwerke Pale Ale pours a light gold with a floral fruity toejam hop nose. The taste is light crisp with a very floral hoppiness. I was surprised it was so hoppy as many German Pale Ales tend to lack hops. OK.

Tap at Bierhaus in Stockholm, 16th March 15. Not a typical Pale, loads of flavour, good grainy malt linger. Pretty drinkable

Bottle, danke nach Bochum! Cloudy orange amber, lively carbonation, tanned creamy head. Tropical hop aromatics, pine, light resin. Fairly fruity sweet with a soiid bitter backstop. Medium full body, sparkliness prevents it from sticking. Feels a little bit heavy, DIPAlike, but nice nonetheless.

0,5 l bottle. Slightly hazy, golden-orange with a thick, foamy, stable, white head. Awesome floral aroma of mango, passion fruit and orange. Taste of mango, passion fruit and grapefruit. It starts slightly sweet and ends with a medium bitterness that lasts on your tongue for quite some time. Medium body, thick mouthfeel, average carbonation. Decent pale ale that is as least as good as their witbier (apples and oranges, yes...). Really liked it.
