XX-bitter is our most bitter, high-fermenting beer. Despite its low alcohol content, it produces a very rich, long lasting, full flavour.

This one poured a crystal clear gold until the sediment at the bottom hit the glass and turned it into a cloudy gold....but there are no solid "chunks" so I give this very high honors in the appearance department.
The smell was the only thing I could find negative about it. Almost had a cleaning solution smell to it...very lemony.
The taste was superb! That lemony smell translated into a very hoppy/lemony taste that hit my palate on nothing but positive tones. Boy....am I sad that I only bought 1 bottle....this is GREAT stuff! Hoppay! ;^)

On tap Leper - Pours a cloudy yellow colour with a medium sized thick foamy white head. Aroma has that Belgian yeastiness, some grass and citrus lemon notes. A zesty hoppy bitter taste, malt and yeast flavours a little sweetness and more hops in the finish.

Pour is a cloudy yellow with a huge white head. Aroma is some bland wet paper type lager malt but there is a underlying fruity apricot. Flavor is some more bland malt but there is a huge white pepper that stays on the palate long after the swallow. Not very bitter as the name suggests, the beer is all about the malt and more importantly the yeast used.

Flaske 330ml fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø - Sentrum. Drukket på Lillehøgda 12 Aug 17. Lys gylden. Lavt skum som daler sakte. Litt lacing. Maltaroma. Smaken malt & spor av frukt. Tørr ettersmak - og en ekstra tørr avslutning. Litt bunnfall.

Draft @ Foeders. Golden yellow color, light hazy. Big, dense, rocky white head. Aroma’s: fruity, grassy hops. Retronasal it’s sweetish, sweet fruit. Flavor is moderate bittersweet. Light medium bodied. Firm bitter finish.
