Prairie Noir is our whiskey barrel aged imperial oatmeal stout. We brew this beer with a huge amount of oats to give it an ever so silky mouth feel. Notes of coffee, chocolate, and toasted marshmallow can be found in the flavor and aroma of this beer. Notes of whiskey and carmel are also packed into this beer.

750ml bottle pours a watery, opaque black with some creamy, beige head. Smells of Kahlua, coffee beans, booze, some dark chocolate, molasses. Flavor is boozy, burnt toast, molasses, licorice, coffee bean, some booze. Full, roasty finish.

Bottle. Pours a clean black with a dark brown head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has a really nice whiskey note that works with a combination of smooth chocolate and roasted malts. Flavor starts with sweet chocolate and a hint of marshmallow, but finishes with roasted malts and a nice whiskey note.
