We crafted this traditional English beer with 4 different hops from the Savinjska Valley in central Slovenia. The initial caramel flavor is followed by a gentle herbal and flowery aftertaste. This brew honors the tradition of the premium bitter ales with a refreshing smooth taste, light body and low alcohol content. It also has a significantly lower carbonization or CO2 content.

On tap at Sir William's Pub, pours a clear copper with a small off-white head. Aroma is subdued, with light biscuity malt and very subdued English hops. Flavour is along the same lines, with light English hops and biscuity malt. Not much going on here, but it's inoffensive.

Soft ruby malts aroma some sugariness. Looks like clear brown liquid and has no foam. Flavour is soft malts and crackers with a medium finish. Lacking finesse, drinkable, but needs more expertise to rise above the crowd.

Bottled 500ml. -from Pivoljub Ljubljana. Dark golden coloured, medium sized white to off-white head, mild malty nose. Toasted malt, light caramel, some weak herbal hops and early stages of oxidation with bitterish finish. Tastes like average homebrew.

On tap @ Zlata Ladjica, Ljubljana, shared with CanCrusher. Pours hazy deep amber color with thin quickly diminishing white head. Aroma of caramel, bread, grass and flowers. Tastes sweet malty with strong caramel and bready note, following is a bit fruity and grassy, while finish is mild to medium bitter. Medium body, oily texture and soft carbonation in palate. Way too malty for my liking...

Draft @ Pivo & Burger Fest Oct’16, Ljubljana. Orange, col blanc.
