Flaske 500ml fra Gulating Tromsø. Batch 1034. Lys gylden. Uklar. Høyt luftig skum som daler sakte. Spotlacing. Aroma av malt & gress. Smaken som aromaen. Lett tørr avslutning. Godt matøl.

500 ml bottle, batch 1034, from the brewery. ABV is 4.5%. This bottle had not been treated as good as it should have, so I expected it to be lightstruck, but it seemed to be perfectly all right to me. Hazy golden colour, moderate white head. Fresh and herbal aroma and flavour, distinct bittering hops in the finish. A better-than-average pilsener.

On tap at Haand Festival. An almost clear one, golden in color and with an off-white head. The aroma has pine cones, some resin and grass, with pale malts and a whiff of hay in the back. It’s medium bodied and quite dry on the palate, decently bitter, and with a little sweetness from the pale malts. Piney, lightly resiny and grassy malts too. Long, bitter finish. A nice and quenching beer indeed. 160527

50cl bottle, batch #986, from Westholme Stores, Goring. A hazy straw colour with a billowing cream head; typical grassy pilsner aroma; quite full flavoured with some peachy fruit, some stoniness and spice; then a pleasantly assertive bitterness leading to a fruit apricot and peach finish. Not quite a Pilsner, but actually rather good.

Golden with a white head - Malt aroma with some hops as well - Malt body with hops that gives a good bitterness - The malt and hops with bitterness goes into the finish - This was nice and refreshing

500ml bottle, batch 1034, bought at Gulating Ølutsalg, Tromsø. Frothy, snow white head slowly diminishing over a hazy golden body. Clingy lacing. Pale malty nose added by mid-dry fruity hops. Nobel hops together with peaches and mango to the flavour profile. Pale malty backbone. Juicy malts towards the ending. Good drinking and fine partner to our food. (Lunch time drinking with Ingeborg and Helga, Tromsø 16.04.2017).

0.5l bottle from #986. It's a cloudy one this, almost honey golden colored with a nice shine holding it against the light. A ice medium sized white head safely placed on the top, leaving small dots. It doesn't smell all that bad either. Quite fruity for a pilsner. Hops actually detected. Peach, hay, some copper and it's malty also. Not a bad pilsner aroma. It has a strong flavor also. At first a little oxidised, then I get a strange put still pleasant licorice hoppiness. It's mild oily in the mouth and it's just above average on the carbonation. Like this much more than I thought before popping the cap. Long grassy almost tail. A well hopped tasty pilsner. Undoubtedly the best one I've had this year - if not longer. Nice! 02.12.2016

Hytte 160716. Golden color with a white head. Aroma is fruit, malt, pine. Flavor is fruit, malt, pine, grapefruit , citrus, floral. OK beer. Nice pilsener.
