Bottle at home. Has a slightly hazy light orange colour with a creamy white head. Aroma of pale malt, spicy hops, sweet corn, wet hay and grass. Sweet flavour of pale malt at medium to heavy bitterness. A great German-style pilsener. Nice aroma and is quite bitter.

Bottle, batch 986. Pours slightly hazy, light yellow, with a creamy head. Aroma is zesty, herbal hops, with grassy notes and tropical hoppy notes. Medium body, with soft to average carbonation. Flavour is crisp, herbal hops, with grassy notes and some tropical notes of citrus and peach, as well as pilsner malts with cereals. Lingering bitter finish.

50cl bottle from Meny Oslo City. Pours slightly hazy golden with a decent, white head. Mild malty aroma with solid hoppy notes, fairly grassy and slightly herbal with hints of fruits and caramel too. Moderate sweet, surprisingly hoppy and bitter. Possibly not very balanced, but I like it. Refreshing and nice.

Gylden brun klar med fingerhøyt hvitt skum. Mukter malt, nøtter og noe karamell. Søtlig karamell, noe brent i starten. Bitterheten kommer utover, sitrus og noe tørket frukt.

Draft sample @ Haand fest ’16, Drammen. Shared with the Norwegian tasting crew. Dorée, sur léger voile, col fin blanc. Arôme au nez finement malté pils, fleuri versant sur le noble avec une touche assez travaillée de fruité léger citronné. Palais est léger, crisp, pils malté avec une impression de maïs ajoutant une fine douceur. Retrouve un houblonné noble bien fleuri et accompagné d’un léger fruité, petite note métallique sur la fin.

At last an outstanding nice pils. More of this please.
Hazed golden color with a fine thick white head. Nice lacing. Looks good. Ok intensity in the aroma. Medium body and a fine carbonation. Good balance between sweetness and bitterness. Mellow and fine flavor. Mild fruity, malty and pleasant mild citric.

Nice creamy mediumlasting head, slightly hazy. Aroma is grainy, weeds, dried grain, minerals, hay, flowers, grass, cereal, bark. Taste is dry grainy, weeds, hay, minerals, dried grain, bark, paper, medicine, flowers, cereal. Medium to longlasting bitterness, watery and medical mouthfeel. Not my cup of tea.

Fra fat på ØST, Haandbryggeriets krankupp mars-16: lett uklar lys gylden med fint skum og myk karbonering. Deilig, typeriktig aroma og smak med blomster og gress. God floral bitterhet og dybde i avslutningen.
