Le note dolci, caramellate e speziate del naso nascondono il vero carattere di questa birra biologica. Il corpo morbido e vellutato, caratterizzato dai cinque malti usati è sorretto e accompagnato da un amaro ben pronunciato, che lascia spazio alle note di liquirizia con una speziatura da scoprire. Inspirata alle Strong Bitter, soddisfa chi la beve.

500ml bottle from Italy. Thanks Kathy! Pours an opaque orange-bronze color with a khaki head and excellent retention. Great lacing too. Light caramel malt and hops aroma. Flavors of even lighter caramel and stronger hops, and some herbal bitterness in the finish. Not a fan of the mix. At least the 6.0% ABV is well hidden. Medium body. Medium-light carbonation. Low bitterness.

Draft sample @ Birra Expo’14 Piacenza. Cuivrée, léger beige pour le col. Arôme offre un bouquet un peu plus neutre tirant sur un léger malté cara-pâle tirant vraiment vers le grillé. Petit côté poivré? Palais est malté cara-pâle; ici aussi avec une trace subtile de poivre arrivant en fin de ouche. Garde un palais sympa, léger croquant malté avec cette approche bio qui se ressent bien dans cette fraîcheur grains. Je note par ailleurs un côté grains concassés et une toute petite pointe réglisse en fin de bouche.
