This beer claimed to be the world strongest beer with an ABV of 65%. On Brewver the ABV is not listed as their are some discrepancies.
After the release of "Snake Venom" of the same brewery in 2013 there was rumor about the ABV of those two beers. They were tested in a laboratory and the result was 22.8% ABV (official: 65% ABV) for Armageddon and 41.1% ABV (official: 67.5% ABV). Later another batch was tested with 67.5% but soon it got official that this was only the reason because pure ethanol was added. Therefore "Snake Venom" often not seen as real beer - and the brewery simply lied about the ABV of Armageddon.

Amber and somewhat hazy with non-existing head. Vague aromas. Some caramel, sweet sherry and dried fruit. Sweet and no bitterness and light sour. Very thin and flat and dull tasting notes. Barely drinkable and sure as hell not even close to 65%

Cloudy dark amber color with no head (I didn’t expect sediment in this beer). Light aroma of milk chocolate. Some caramel flavor, moderate sweetness, some yeast, regular bitterness, some vegetable bitterness too; the mouthfeel is a bit oily; the final is a bit nutty, and there is some gentle alcohol warmth.
Tastes like 12% ABV, and it can’t possibly be anything above 18-20% ABV.

Bottle. No alcohol on nose. Some sweetness, syrupy toffee, light hoppiness, no alcohol burn at all. Tasted alongside multiple 19% beers, would struggle to be around 15% - future lab tests have shown it to be closer to 15. Actually not a terrible beer, but points lost for the rip-off.

Bottle @ Voldby tasting. Pours hazy dark brown, no head, heavy lacings. Aroma of malt, caramel, bread, wood, nuts, some dried fruit. Flavor is malty, sugar, caramel, bready, nutty, bitterness, spruce, wet wood, booze. Full body, fat oily mouthfeel, flat carbonation. Allthough strong, imo not near the 65%ABV. 200614

Bottle 330ml. @ [ pre-TSODRBSG13 ], Ulfborg.Clear light medium amber colour with a small, fizzy, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, bread, dried fruit, earthy malt, caramel, sweet malt, sugary, alcohol. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, earthy, wood, harsh bitter, tobacco, spruce. Body is medium to full, texture is oily and sticky, carbonation is flat, finish feel is light alcoholic. IMO. not even close to 65% more like between 15 &

Hazy amber color, no head. Fruity, apple, raisins aroma, like in Russian PET-bottle strong lagers. Medium-bodied. Very hoppy, salty, licorice in the finish. Green apple fruityness. Quite sweet, lacks alcoholic burn. As said, not 65%.
