Bottle from The Beerhive. Hazy brown body with a thick beige head. Excellent lacing. Aroma of plum, Fererro Roche and cheap advent calendar chocolate. Flavour of caramelised nuts. It’s much lighter than I thought it might be, although the flavour becomes richer as it warms. Thin body with a watery, slightly oily texture. Soft fizz. The hazelnut is a really nice addition - it’s not overdone and works really nicely. That said, it’s not a beer I could drink a lot.

355ml bottle from Appellation Wines. Pours clear brown, thin off-white head. Aromas are chocolate and light nuts, touch of spice. Taste has more chocolate sweetness. Finishes crisp enough, not sticky. Good.

Bottle from Hop Hideout, Sheffield. Clear, dark ruby red. Halo of off white head. Looks the bee’s. Fruity, nutty, gianduja aroma. For me though, the taste is too overpoweringly sweet. It verges on artificial. Quite unpleasant, by the end of the glass.

Reviewed from notes. I’ve had this beer more than multiple times in my life.
The appearance is a dark brown colored body that leaves a nice one finger creamy tan lacing looking head. The body is totally too dark for any carbonation to be seen and a perfect super light foamy lacing is left.
The smell has hazelnuts and brown sugar up front with some malts in the background, reminds me a bit of beer bread.
The taste is the same as the smells coming through on my tongue with a bit more nuttiness.
On the palate, she sits about a medium, maybe closer to heavy, still has a good deal of sharpness on the tongue with a sticky aftertaste.
Overall, this is probably one of the best English Brown ales on the market one can get in the USA. Don’t pass up if you see it.

Draft pour. Tried a couple more times just to be sure. Pours a very dark brown with a faint malty aroma. Probably one of the nuttiest beers i?ve had. Sweet on the nose. Really nice, smooth favor. Maybe a bit too sweet. Some hazelnut and graham crackers flavors with a touch of spice. Overall, a very good beer.

Bottle shared by Bobo, thank you! Aroma nutty. Complex malty character, I am not able to discern much more. Clear deep ruby brown colour. Taste is initially cocoa, chocolate. Nutty. Rather sweet, but has subtle balancing roasted notes. Finish quite long in duration. Dark chocolate. Moderate body.

Bottle from saveur-biere.com. Red/brown slightly hazy body with small beige head. Aroma is hazelnut, hazelnut and hazelnut. Great! Some toast, caramel and chocolate in the background. Taste is similar, dominant hazelnut, with some more raisin, earth and a subtle roastyness. And although there almost is no bitterness (just very little in the finish), it isn’t too sweet. Greatly balanced! The mouthfeel is medium, oily, with a good carbonation and a smooth toasty and slightly astringent finish. Quaffable, unique, very good!

Botella de 65 cl. En el lupulo. Color ambar cobrizo casi a marrón. Cuerpo medio con espuma blanca no muy persistente. Aroma a frutos secos (avellana y algo amargo nuez verde). Sabor efectivamente como reza en la etiqueta a avellana seguido de malta algo dulce poco Amargor final. Buena cerveza muy equilibrada (como toda la gana Rogue que he tomado hasta el momento) para empezar la velada sin más.
