From the hazelnut capital of the United States, this nutty twist on a European brown ale was originally crafted by Rogue Brewmaster John Maier's good friend and avid home-brewer, Chris Studach. Hazelnut Brown Nectar offers a hazelnut aroma with rich nutty flavor and a smooth malty finish. 14°

Good malty carmel nose, hazelnut in the nose. Solid smooth caramel malt with a good toasty taste, obvious hazelnut flavour. Feels a little, slapped on, but not bad overall.

0.33 l bottle from Pivoteka, Zagreb. Shared with Višnja 666 and Goran. Thanks! Murky dark amber, small off-white head. Malty, cardboard, some caramel. Hazelnut ice-cream, watered down Nutella, strangely sweet and roasty. Light to medium body, medium carbonation, abrupt sweet finish. Strange, but not sure if this is a successful brew, maybe not fresh if it makes any difference considering the style? 0.33 l bottle shared with Marko and Anna God. Only strong hazelnut this time, ice cream, Nutella. Sweet, malty, sugary, caramel candy. A bit on the sweet side. Medium body, not to heavy, soft texture and carbonation, moderately lasting finish. Not bad.

Bottled 355ml. -from Pivoteka Zagreb. Amber coloured, small to medium sized pale beige head, pleasant nutty nose. Moderate malty, caramel, decent nutty and light hoppy with notes of sugar and distinct nutty finish. Quite pleasant beer.

From a 355ml bottle on 30/12/2016. Pours a murky amber with not much of a head. You really get the hazlenuts in the nose, along with some caramel and toffee. Flavour wise it’s very sweet and malty - chocolate, caramel, toffee, nuts, biscuit and brown sugar, with just the barest hint of hops. The body is full, the palate quite rich and the carbonation average. A very enjoyable sweet brown ale.

Ambar oscura, rojiza. Espuma ocre de poca duración. Deja película. Clara avellana en el aroma. En boca resulta aguada, pero con un sabor agradable, malteada, con la avellana predominando, y notas de chocolate. Rica pero sin cuerpo.

Flesje gekregen van Benzai en gedronken met Tom. Zeer sterk aroma van gebrande hazelnoten. Smaak van noten en koffie. Nasmaak is iets bitter.

Pours a rich brown from a bottle. Aroma is of a nice light chocolate hazelnut, flavor is more of a hazelnut with caramel. Nice, a little thin. Good beer.
