I’m not a ticker. It’s just that I went to college! Beer pours so clear, it’s hard to tell if there’s anything in the glass but water. Did I pour water? I don’t know there’s something kind of yellow in here. Maybe, someone relieved them self in the glass. I’m not sure. Nose is musty feet, swamp water, uncleaned subway bathroom stall and cat litter. Taste is the most amazing beer I’ve ever had. It’s so good I can’t believe the ambrosia I feel. Oh wait, I’m confusing this with something else. Nevermind. No, Red Dog tastes like upchuck. And not the fresh I just ate a pepperoni pizza and it’s only half dissolved in stomach acid kind of upchuck. I’m talking about crusty old upchuck found under a movie theater seat that has been sitting there for the better part of a decade. Yeah, that kind. And you used to drink this by the bucket loads in High School or maybe college. Admit it. You know it’s true. This is the epitome of drain pours. Rated 6/29/02

Got a case of this beer to drink at a music festival. I had to drink most of it while it was kind of lukewarm, but even then, this beer tasted quite all right. It was never really offensive and actually had some taste. I don’t know if it is better than most of your American pale lagers, but it is certainly no worse than Bud, PBR, or MGD. Plus it is cheaper than all of the above at 14 bucks a case.

Overall Impression: I bumped it a little in the "appearance" and "overall" because I do like the label...don't kid yourself though, it's still really bad

Can in an extra for a trade with my roomate (Miller High life for money). Pours with a vanishing white head. Clear dehydrated yellow body. Sweet corn and cardboard. Taste is sweet, watery, salty, and a bit sweat like. Very dry mouthfeel. Fizzy.

Plain old american lager smell, no bad attributes on the olfactory. Ubiquitous pale yellow american lager color and appearance. Few rising bubles, not sparkling and has no head. medium fizzy carbonation wiht a pleasing tingle. A little cardboard and perhaps watered down a bit on the initial flavors. No bitter negatives. Nothing terribly offensive. Some industrial processed pond water finish.

Aroma of grassy hop and a touch of citrus. Why am I not surprised. Light brassy gold color with a humongous white head. Starts corny, hit of citrus, thin bodied. Sort of a watery finish, but there is some very light hop bitter. It is clean, and arguably crisp. Unfortunately it leaves a gummy veg coat on the mouth. Still, it is way better than most of the mass produced products.

Can. Very light malt aroma. Medium yellow with small head. Just the very faintest hint of barley malt - otherwise no different than mineral water. Nothing offensive because there is barely anything here. Seems like it at least had some taste when it first came out - not anymore.

bottle. Not very good, especially since it says "premium" on it. Avoid unless it’s the only thing you want to drink.
