Corruption, Greed and Lust, they’re all represented on the books today. Tomorrow they’ll be stringing Gluttony, Desire and Sloth. Go ahead, tell yourself you’re better than all of them. But you can’t. Hell can be funny like that. Down here it’s all just sin. Everyone here is screwed just like you. They don’t care who you sliced, diced or cheated. No one is escaping this heinous place.

Your roommate is an axe murderer. Eerily, he’s not threatening. How can he be? The Fallen Angel owns your body, mind and soul. As such, no one can take your life. It’s already been taken. Or was it given? Neither matters. Did you seriously think you were living a virtuous life? At least Satan serves beer in Hell. He brews it himself right there in that flame stoked cauldron. Rumor has it the beer is straw yellow, bone dry and simply labeled Inferno.

Bottle bought at Systembolaget. Cloudy orange, the white foam was not the world’s most beautiful. The aroma was quite fresh, green apples, yeast, straw, and a bit "detergent". The taste was a "typical Belgian taste" fruit, "detergent" and yeast. Aftertaste was long and dry. Refreshing and easy to drink despite the relatively high alcohol content.

Corked bottle. Pale golden color. Melon, pineapple and lemon in the strong aroma. Loads of tropical fruit and flowers in the somewhat tart, slightly alcoholic flavor. Hints of pepper. The fruit and pepper linger on in the aftertaste. Well balanced, tasty yet sticky beer.

Bottle shared by badnewsbeers. Hazy medium orange-brown body, medium buff, persistent head. Sweet nose with sugared breads, pineapple, banana, and clove, tart and fruity. Doughy, soft body emphasizes sugary malts and sweet fruits (pineapple, pear, and white grape), with hints of clove. Somewhat cloying, which is surprising given the description on the label of a "bone dry" beer.

Be careful when you open this one; the cork might turn into a deadly missile! Colour is hazy colden, head is huge and thick. Aroma is fruity, sourish berries. Flavour is yeasty, citric with lots of sourish berries. Long hoppy bitterness.
Bettter than many real Belgian ales.

Hazy golden color. Lot of barnyard, hay, lemon, barnyard in the nose. Moderate carbonation, hay, oranges, cob webs, earthy mouth. Fairly hoppy. Lightly carbonated. Excellent Belgian farmhouse beer and my favorite Flat Abbey beer.

Glowing gold with white head. Spicy, citrus fruit, light yeast, nice. Effervescent body. Similar flavor. A little lemony. Spices and alcohol are a bit strong on the tongue during the finish but it’s a very nice beer.

Bottled. An unclear golden beer with an off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt and straw with an edge of something acidic. The flavor is sweet with a light acidic edge and notes of straw, wood, and malt, as well as lighter notes of grapefruit.

Rerate, 1 pt. 9.4 fl. oz. corked and wired bottle, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 8.5%. Very pale yellow colour, huge white head. Nice fruity and spicy aroma, notes of citrus, Belgian ale yeast and mild spices. Fizzy mouthfeel. The flavour is very dry and distinctly spicy, with a solid hoppy bitterness in the finish. In other words: a fairly different experience this time. I’m upping it a few points. Original rating: Bottle, 8.5% ABV, RBNAG 2009 in Vatlandsvåg. Golden colour, slightly hazy, moderate white head. Aroma and flavour of American caramel malts with some "unfresh" marmalade notes. The flavour also has some moderate American hops.
