But you can’t. Hell can be funny like that. Down here it’s all just sin. Everyone here is screwed just like you. They don’t care who you sliced, diced or cheated. No one is escaping this heinous place.
Your roommate is an axe murderer. Eerily, he’s not threatening. How can he be? The Fallen Angel owns your body, mind and soul. As such, no one can take your life. It’s already been taken. Or was it given? Neither matters. Did you seriously think you were living a virtuous life? At least Satan serves beer in Hell. He brews it himself right there in that flame stoked cauldron. Rumor has it the beer is straw yellow, bone dry and simply labeled Inferno.

C&C 750 mL bottle courtesy of maniac. Sampled at the 11th Richmond Ratebeer Gathering, 4/17/10. Pours a clear golden color with a medium sized head. Good head retention and fair lacing. Aroma of pale malts, honey and some faint fruity notes. The taste is caramel, pale malts, leafy hops, some dry fruity notes. Medium bodied.

Bottle. An interesting beer. Pours a light yellow with a soft, white head. Plenty of Belgian yeast in the nose, along with some hops and spices. Flavor is rich, with sweet malt tones, caramel, honey, and a Belgian character throughout. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Pretty nice overall.

750ml bottle pours a translucent, hazy, orange with a creamy white head. Spicy aroma, boozy, Belgian yeast. Flavor is spicy, sweet, pineapple, pears, candy sugar. Finish is sticky and a little harsh. Not my favorite Lost Abbey offering.

Bottle, 75cl corked, at RBNAG -09. A hazy, yellowish beer topped by an off-white head of moderate size. Some cellar on the nose, with citrus, white sugar and sugary malts, Sweet flavor with white sugars, hints of cellar, and some spice notes. Sweet finish with spices. Medium body, pleasant carbonation. Not a beer to impress me with, but pleasant anyway. 091107

750 ml bottle sampled@RBNAG 2009, Vatlandsvåg. Hazy, yellow/orange body with a thin white head. Aroma is mild caramel malty, spices, fruit and yeast. Flavor is quite sweet malty, caramel, hint of butterscotch, spies, yeast and some bitterness in the aftertaste. Quite complex and interesting, but not a true classic.

65cl bottle. clear dark yellow, fluffy offwhite head. aroma is ordinary well brewed belgian triple, but a little bit of sourness thrown in, aroma is on the dry side. yellow fruits and mild spices. flavor is faint yellow fruits, bitterness, faint spices, hops bitterness (but no or very very low floral hoppy notes). yeast. tastes like a very dry belgian.
