Corruption, Greed and Lust, they’re all represented on the books today. Tomorrow they’ll be stringing Gluttony, Desire and Sloth. Go ahead, tell yourself you’re better than all of them. But you can’t. Hell can be funny like that. Down here it’s all just sin. Everyone here is screwed just like you. They don’t care who you sliced, diced or cheated. No one is escaping this heinous place.
Your roommate is an axe murderer. Eerily, he’s not threatening. How can he be? The Fallen Angel owns your body, mind and soul. As such, no one can take your life. It’s already been taken. Or was it given? Neither matters. Did you seriously think you were living a virtuous life? At least Satan serves beer in Hell. He brews it himself right there in that flame stoked cauldron. Rumor has it the beer is straw yellow, bone dry and simply labeled Inferno.

Bottle @ Pannuhuone, Kuopio. Originally rated on 24.6.2010. Good, but quite generic Belgian styled ale with notes of sourness.

Bottle @ Home. Pours slightly hazy light orange with a fluffy white head. Aroma is yeast, sweet fruit, peach, mango, orangepeel, spices. Taste is yeast, and lots of sweet fruit, again peach, orangepeel, lemon and grapes in the finish. Medium body, lively carbonation. Good, but as much as i love Lost Abbey, this is proberly my least favorit of the ones i had yet. 010711

A tall sticky white head laces the glass as it slips into the hazy, dark yellow body below. Sweet malt, lemony hops, and light funk make up the aroma of this one. Lightly sweet on the tongue with a nice balancing dryness in the finish. Not overly bitter, not overly sweet. Fairly light palate. Smooth and easy drinking. Hides the alcohol very well.

Corked 750ml bottle. Orange-tan color with a fluffy, steady off white head. Murky, effervescent, pretty much a five appearance-wise. Sweet alcohol-laced malty orange aroma. Soft on the palate, no trace of rough carbonation. Sugary, yeasty and complex, an excellent beer. Creamy and rich, with some funky, fruity Belgian yeast tones. Soft bitterness is swept away a golden malty, sugary thickness. A little sugar-froward, but still excellently captures the style. World Class.
